How it is calculated
- Net income per 1,000 = selling price × (1 − fee).
- Profit per 1,000 = net income − provider cost.
- Markup = selling price ÷ provider cost. Gross margin = profit ÷ selling price.
- Break-even price = provider cost ÷ (1 − fee).
